Our Logo Story

As part of honoring a deeper connection to our roots, Wilkerson Moravian Bakery refreshed our logo and name to better reflect who we are and where we come from. Transitioning from Moravian Bake Shop to Wilkerson Moravian Bakery places our family name at the heart of the brand—celebrating a century of tradition, craftsmanship, and stories baked into every batch since 1925.

The updated logo leans intentionally into heritage. Its typography is inspired by the Records of the Moravians in North Carolina, connecting our visual identity to the same history that shaped our baking. This change isn’t about becoming something new—it’s about embracing what has always defined us: preserving early American baking traditions, honoring generations of master bakers, and continuing to balance spice with mystique, sugar with savory, and flavor with memory.
